Vicky’s Values is proudly owned and operated by Women’s Resources. At Vicky’s, we sell gently used clothing and household items to raise funds that support programs for abused women and children in our community.

Our store is open to the general public, and our aim is to provide quality clothing and household items that are affordable to everyone. In addition to our store, we also offer essential supports for women and children who are in need:

  • Store certificate program: Certificates for clothing and other items are provided to women in our services so they can shop for the items they need at no cost to them.
  • Housewares program: Start up orders of bedding, towels, dishes, pots, pans and other household essentials are provided to women who are rebuilding their lives after abuse
  • Food cupboard: We provide emergency food orders to women receiving our services and we are a member of the Kawartha Lakes Food source.
  • Gift program: Donations of spa products, new gift items and new toys are collected year round in order to provide gifts for women, teens and children for special occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day and more.

Donate!

We accept all clothing and accessories (clothing, shoes, belts, purses, jewelry etc), household linens such as bedding, curtains, and towels; home décor items such as artwork and knick knacks; Books, DVD’s and other entertainment; Toys and new gift and personal care products.  Other items may be accepted based on our program needs and space constraints.  Donations are welcome anytime between 10am and 2pm, Monday through Saturday.  For more info, please call us at 705-878-5938.

Shop!

We are open to the public Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm. You can find amazing deals on new and gently used clothing and accessories for the whole family, as well as a great selection of home decor, books, and other household items. There’s something for everyone at Vicky’s! We are constantly putting out additional stock, and because our items are donated, you rarely see the same thing twice – so shop often for the best selection and amazing finds!

Volunteer!

We are always looking for volunteers to join our fabulous team of over 100 women who dedicate their time to Vicky’s Values, working in our store serving customers and clients, or in our warehouse processing donations – sorting, pricing, cleaning, stocking, etc. Please visit us in-store for a volunteer application or email Sharon Benoit sbenoit@womensresourcesold.mydev.ca. We are currently looking for volunteers to work a variety of 3-hour afternoon (1pm-4pm) shifts, Wednesday through Saturday.

Helping Women

Vicky’s raises funds to support women and their children in our community who have experienced abuse.
